MG Hector SUV launches in India
MG Hector SUV has been launched in the market in four variants. In terms of price, it will compete in the upcoming SUV Celtos of Tata Harrier, Mahindra XUV500, Jeep Compass, Hyundai Kreta and Kia Motors.
MG Hector SUV launches in India on Thursday. Its price ranges from 12.18 lakh to 16.88 lakh rupees. This is the first Internet-connected SUV of its segment. British brand MG Motor with Hector has entered the Indian market. The collision of this new SUV in the market will be from SUVs like the upcoming Tata Harrier, Jeep Compass, Hyundai Kreta and Kia Motors.
Hector is a 5-seater SUV. It is available in 4 variant-style, super, smart and sharp. The base variant of the Style Hector, while the Sharpe Top variant is. The front of the SUV has a Black Grill with sleek Chrome Surroundings, which makes it look fabulous. Its front has been designed in a new way. Hector’s headlamps are engaged in the bumper and DaY time Running Lights (DRL) are given right above. The SUV from the side looks quite heavy. The engine of MG Hector
Hector has a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine, which generates 143hp of power and 250Nm torque. The diesel engine is 2.0-liter, which generates 170hp of power and 350Nm torque. Both engines have a 6-speed manual gearbox standard. The petrol engine also has the option of a 6-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox. In addition to these two engines, the company has also given 48V Milled Hybrid variant of a petrol engine. Hybrid variants will only have 6-speed manual gearbox options.
Hector’s style and a super variant with a non-hybrid petrol engine with a manual transmission was given, which cost 12.18 lakh and 12.98 lakh respectively. In the smart and sharp variants, this engine is available with automatic transmission, which is worth 15.28 lakhs and 16.78 lakhs respectively. The hybrid petrol engine is in super, smart and sharp variants, whose price is 13.58 lakhs, 14.68 lakhs, and 15.88 lakhs respectively. The diesel engine is available in four variants, which are priced at 13.18 lakhs, 14.18 lakhs, 15.48 lakhs, and 16.88 lakhs respectively.
MG Motor claims that without Hector, the hybrid gasoline engine has 14.16 km of a manual gearbox and 13.96 kilometers per liter with an automatic gearbox. The mileage of the hybrid petrol engine is 15.81 kilometers per liter. The diesel engine mileage is 17.41 kilometers per liter.
The 10.4-inch touchscreen technology system offered in MG Hector is special. This information system is equipped with Android Auto, Apple Carplay, Artificial Intelligence powered voice assist, pre-loaded apps and embedded Airtel SIM card. In the top variant of SUV, you can use the 360-degree camera, 4-way abrasive co-driver seat, large panoramic sunroof, heated outside rear view mirror, rain sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, 17-inch alloy weights, and 8 colors mood lighting.
